In order to upgrade any one of these Blueprints, players are going to need Infected Trophies.a lot of them. So at least until the Paraglider is unlocked, players should avoid doing too much grinding within the Bazaar area.ĭying Light 2 has a new system for upgrading Blueprints, as it's all done at the Craftmaster NPCs now. And, because things like the Paraglider (unlocked right after reaching the Central Loop) and Grappling Hook (unlocked at the VNC Tower) aren't available for a while, players are only experiencing part of the open-world of Old Villedor as they're intended to. Sure, players are "locked out" of the next area of the city until they complete a certain amount of the story, but there's still so much to do in the starting area. Often, this leads to these players burning out on the core mechanics of the game earlier than they naturally should have, causing them to never finish the game's story.īoth for better and worse, Dying Light 2 is one of those games. Once an open-world game opens up and allows the player to go anywhere, a completionist will almost always try and clear as much of the map as possible before continuing the story. Any completionist out there knows this feeling all too well.
